PCOS can be lonely, and before I started Jumpstart I was definitely getting used to feeling alone. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago, and other than having some laser treatments for unwanted hair and yearly weight fluctuations, I didn’t really have to deal with it. That was until my husband and I started trying to get pregnant. Every month brought more disappointment, which brought more depression. My PCOS was out of control and bringing me down with it. I don’t believe that before I discovered PCOS Diva I truly realized how miserable I felt. When I found Amy’s site I was floundering. I was sick of feeling like crap all the time, and frustrated with our constant failed attempts to get pregnant. I just wanted to feel like I could do something instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself. I purchased Amy’s meal plan and immediately felt better. Two weeks later I decided to try Jumpstart. It was such an inspiring and motivational experience to share with the other women. I no longer felt like I was fighting this alone.
After a week of Jumpstart, I feel so great. I think I’m more positive and happier. I’m motivated and I feel proactive. I’m extremely proud of myself and that helps with my confidence immensely. I’m really energized and hopeful for the future. I feel lighter (lost 3 lbs. this week!) and I’ve rediscovered my love for cooking. I’m so thankful for Amy and all of the other PCOS Divas for helping me find myself again!
