A year ago today, I cleaned out my refrigerator, went to bed early and started my PCOS Diva journey with the Jumpstart Program. I signed on just hoping for a quick shopping list and recipe list of foods that would help me lose weight to manage PCOS, but the food was only the beginning of my learning. The first week I went from exhausted to crying to elated. The following months I learned to cook using fresh foods, wake up early, working to be consistent and to stop comparing my journey to others’ and not giving up just when I had an off day (or month). Those personal lessons were worth more than any recipe. A year later, I have lost 10kg (22lb) and am halfway to my goal weight. I can run 4km, ride a bicycle and sizzle in the kitchen more than I ever thought I would. Thank you Amy and the amazing network of Divas! I have hardly any willpower and if I can do it, anyone can!
