Before the 7 Day Jumpstart Program, I wanted to naturally control my PCOS. I want to be healthy and inspired and at my best before going through pregnancy and raising children to love healthy living as well. I was also frustrated with HAVING to be on birth control, I want my body to do what it is suppose to on it’s own and move to a more hollistic style of family planning.
The biggest change since completing the Jumpstart Program is I am paying more attention to what I eat. My husband is more engaged and wants us both to be healthy so he often looks up recipes and plans exercises and healthy eating for us to do together. We cook together now, he is the designated “chopper” of ingredients and makes sure I have what I need to prepare meals. Now I notice a difference in my energy and how easy it is to eat right and stay satisfied by planning ahead. I feel great and enjoy my pampering time.
To any women who are considering participating in this program in the future, I’d say the program is awesome! Join early to give yourself sufficient time to prepare so you are not overwhelmed, and give yourself time to really take in what you learn. I wasn’t able to follow everything exactly for the program, but I took it one day at a time and the prep has helped me immensely past Jumpstart. There is an awesome team of support from others in the program, as well as Amy and her fellow Divas. Make the commitment and make yourself better long term!
