2019 PCOS Diva Holiday Wish List

by Amy Medling, founder of PCOS Diva

Be sure to put yourself on the gift list this holiday season. Share this list with the gift-givers in your life. A little hint goes a long way (at my house, at least). These are some of my favorite things that help me stay on track with my PCOS Diva lifestyle.

Belicon Rebounder

My birthday is right after Christmas. This Belicon rebounder was a combo-gift a few years ago. I don’t use it all year round, but I love it in the winter (and my kids do too) when I’m house bound due to cold and snow. It is fun and so easy on joints. For more info on the health benefits of rebounding read my blog post.

Staub Cast Iron Vertical Chicken Roaster

This amazing piece of cookware makes roasting a chicken so easy.  Just put the center through the chicken and the juices collect in the tray.  The chicken cooks quickly, and clean-up is super-easy. I use this every week in the fall/winter.

Lululemon Vinyasa Scarf

A very sweet PCOS Diva sent me this scarf as a gift, and I have fallen in love with it. It is so fun and versatile (watch video to see the 7 ways to wear.). I often throw it in my purse when I walk out the door in case I need another layer.

HadinEEon Variable Temperature Electric Kettle

I am a huge tea lover and I appreciate that this kettle has variable temperatures, so I can adjust the water temperature based upon what tea I am drinking. Plus this kettle keeps water warm for 12 hours with a push of a button.

Ann Marie Gianni Love Essential Oil Blend

Sweet jasmine and classic rose are balanced by sandalwood and frankincense for a lovely scent. Whenever I wear this blend, I get compliments. It is beautiful and makes me feel beautiful. And I feel good knowing that it is all-natural without any harmful chemicals.

Warmies Microwavable Slippers

These buttery, blissfully soft, one-size-fits-all microwavable slippers are just the thing for icy cold winter feet. Slipping these on is a spa-like experience, and a great way to take extra special care of yourself. While I don’t ususally encourage microwave use, I make an exception for these!

I’ve blogged, posted and podcasted over the last 3 years about how much I love my Pure Barre workouts. If you haven’t tried Pure Barre, put a Class Pass (if you have a studio in your area) or an on-demand online class pass on your wish list. I think it is a great way for women with PCOS to get a low-impact, strength building, HIIT workout without feeling exhausted when it is over.

Pique Tea Crystals

These organic tea crystals mix instantly in hot or cold water and are triple screened for toxins and impurities. I drink several cups of this tea a day – I love it! No tea bags and no steeping is required. Simply tear, mix, and drink. Pique is  offering several Holiday Gift Bundles with different assortments of their teas. My favorite is the Winter Wellness Bundle. Save 10% by using code HOLIDAY10.

Dry Farm Wine

You can feel good about drinking Dry Farm Wines. These wines are are friendly to Paleo, Low/Slow Carb, Sugar Free, Carb Free, and Ketogenic nutritional programs because they are naturally lower in alcohol and statistically sugar/carb free. They are low sulfite and mold free, and every bottle I’ve tried has been delicious. Wines can be gifted by the box or a subscription.

Woolzie’s Organic Dryer Balls

These dryer balls are a wonderful way to avoid endocrine disruptors in traditional dryer sheets.  Just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil blend and these wool dryer balls will keep clothes soft, fresh and fragrant.

Habit Rabit

Habit Rabit

This hand-blown rabbit and his petite pewter friend help you keep the promises you’ve made to yourself. Want to start drinking more water? Put the glass rabbit next to your water filter or sink and the pewter guy on your desk at work as a reminder to get your recommended amounts of water per day. Need some motivation to go running after work? Nestle him right next to your sneakers and keep his companion in your pocket. A sweet way to cheer on someone else’s successes or your own, this long-eared duo encourages the user to hop to it and make things happen.

Of course, my list wouldn’t be complete without a mention of the new paperback edition of my book, Healing PCOS.
